St. Brigid's Cross Ornament

This timeless & iconic Saint Brigid’s Cross Ornament is named for Brigid of Kildare, the only patroness saint of Ireland. These iconic crosses are traditionally woven from straw or rushes on Imbolc, also known as Saint Brigid's Day. Hanging a Brigid's cross from the rafters of one's house was believed to bring the blessing and protection of the saint for the remainder of the year.
