The Four Courts was designed and built by architect James Gandon in 1776 and is one of Dublin's most well know landmarks which is steeped in history.This view has the O' Donovan Rossa Bridge spanning the River Liffey in the foreground and includes some of the beautiful Georgian buildings on Ormond Quay. The technique used for this piece is pen & ink with watercolour which captures the rich architectural detail of this area combined with warm washes of watercolour, creating a beautiful interpretation of this iconic scene
