Glenroe

If there was ever a song that perfectly encapsulated the feeling of anxiety it was the Glenroe theme. The song itself was fine, but what it represented was an entirely different matter. If you were a child of the 1980’s or 1990’s it meant it was 8.30pm and you hadn’t started your homework yet! For me the Glenroe theme emitted a high frequency trigger for false energy fuelled by ANXIETY. I paid no heed to the Dinny’s affair with Fidelma, Mary taking magic mushrooms or Dinny pulling a fast one on Stephen Brennan – it was homework time! WELL HOLY GOD!!!
