JOHN RYAN

Master craftsman John Ryan studied ceramics at Thomastown, Co.Kilkenny in 1993 where he finished top of his class before working for several of Ireland’s top studio potter. He set up his own studio in 1997 in the rural heartland of south county Sligo where he has been making functional and decorative stoneware ceramics for the past 20 years drawing inspiration from the simplicity and beauty of the surrounding landscape of the west of Ireland
